Prior to brazilian / g string / bikini wax treatment:
trim the hair to no more than 1 cm length to minimise pain
wear cotton underwear to the treatment for maximum breathe and comfort
best not to wear stocking on the day
take a pain killer tablet (for brazilian wax) if you are sensitive or is your first time

Avoid these activities after having a wax for 24 hours as your skin is very sensitive and the pores are opened which is prone to infection:

swim in the beach, river, chlorinated pool, spa or sauna
Avoid these activities after having a wax for 24 hours to prevent ingrown, irritation, stinging or dark spots:
  exfoliation
  wash with harsh soap
  wearing stockings or tight jeans
  excessive sweating from exercise
heat activities like sauna, spa, solarium, sun tanning or fake tanning
moisturise with commercial moisturisers as most contains dangerous chemicals, perfume, alcohol etc
24 hours post to the treatment you should:
use gentle and chemical free cleanser on the waxed area
moisturise is the key factor; using only chemical free, alcohol free & perfume free moisturiser to keep the waxed area soft & healthy; dry skin cause removal of skin graze, hair breakage & pain
keep the area dry by applying powder

Ingrown hair can be avoided, with simple routine as mentioned. If found it can be removed with a lancet then apply tea tree essential oil (neat) to the area. Ingrowns are best to be removed as soon as they appear. If not scar tissue can form around the hair, resulting in a cyst which has to be removed by a doctor.

Brazilian, g-string and bikini wax can be painful to some people. Regular wax of every 4 week is recommended to minimise pain and maximum performance.

Lip / brow wax:
To some people tiny white pimples can break out after the wax. This is because excessive oil was pulled to the surface. Waxing every 2-3 weeks can reduce this problem as less & finer hair is removed. Alternatively wipe the area with a toner to remove excessive oil, avoid using any make up and foaming facial cleanser for at least 48 hours.

If tiny white lumps appeared on the skin surface after waxing this is due to certain medications, recreational drugs use, stress, poor diet & menstruation. Otherwise this is because the body sends out histamines to reduce inflammation, which is a good thing but unfortunately for some, this mechanism has sent into overdrive. The lumps usually subside after a few hours; alternatively taking anti-histamine tablet before waxing may also help.

When waxing on the eyebrows or bikini area, skin graze can be removed. This could possibly be cellulite present, very dry skin, dehydrated from using eyeshadow, incorrect eyecare, or certain medication. This is a reason why you should follow correct skincare routine. Wax has the ability to set, pull & rip on unhealthy skin.

However these reactions can be rare.

Leg wax:
There are 3 stages in hair growth; anagen, catagen and telogen. Due to these 3 stages of hair growth, your skin may not feel entire smooth. After a wax there is new hair beneath your skin already growing. To ensure this does not occur, regular waxing can reduce these problems. Hair growth cycles are not consistent, that is why sometimes your wax lasts longer than the other.
